Dragon Ball Super. I was so into DBZ as a kid that I felt like I had to see the new series. Most of it was pretty terrible, and the last arc was especially drawn out but I grit my teeth and got throug...

Playing on Xbox one. My initial impressions were REALLY bad.The origin story and most of act one felt really flat, looking at the game gave me a headache, and the combat was pretty much the worst kind...

Eh, it doesnt have to be apple's to apple's to enjoy comparing them.I would generally prefer dogma just for having similar highs, without some of the extreme lows of the original dark souls.Love em bo...

Only game I've played is Nioh 2. Its solid, but a little bit busy. A lot of systems that feel really unnecessary. Mostly it's just served as a reminder to finally play sekiro which I absolutely loved.

@inevpatoria: In the case of sekiro, I think the addition of a new kind of danger worked by coinciding with the change to a new, much more fantastical, location.Bloodborne actually did something simil...

Bloodborne: Great area design, great combat, just good enough in build options and customization.Sekiro: No customization at all but some of my favorite combat of any game and a great world that reall...

It's been a whole lotta soulslike this week with Nioh 2 and Sekiro. The combat in both games is great, with sekiro offering far better world and atmosphere, but Nioh having the benefit of variety and ...

Just got into Nioh 2 last night and I'm surprised at how much I'm digging it so far. The combat feels incredibly satisfying, and having a full blown co op mode is a great change of pace in a souls lik...

Probably Tekken 7. I've been getting more and more into fighting games the past few years and this is the one that really stuck. It's the game that just seems to get better the more time I put into it...

Slay the Spire. I'm a huge fan of roguelike but very much not a fan of card games.Or so I thought. I've been playing it all weekend, and now my brother and I (who also recently tried the game) are deb...

Having played all the major From games, it wasnt until I'd been stuck on the Cathedral boss in Bloodborn for two weeks that I figured out about invincibility frames on rolls. The whole time I'd played ...
