Yakuza 3-5 are PS3 games so the difference in graphics compared to zero is not that high. Going back to the PS2 games is hard these days but I don't see any reason to make remakes of 3-5 when they look fine as they are.
I've never been that interested in MH. Every time I see it being played it seems slow and unresponsive. It seems like the characters attacks 5 seconds after the button press and the monster doesn't show if you are doing damage and I don't mean health meter but a huge sword goes right through the monster and the monster doesn't react just keep doing its thing. Something about it looks very MMO like but somehow more unresponsive. I understand there is animation priority but I prefer more responsive combat like Witcher 3 for example.
Maybe there are faster weapons but every time I see someone playing MH they use a huge sword that is very slow.
I personally think FFX is the last great FF game. I think the characters are good and the places you visit are beautiful. I think the combat is better than most FF games. If you compare to earlier FF games where you can win pretty much by holding the accept button and just attack and everyone does about the same amount of damage and Magic is not needed FFX has enemies with armor that has to be attacked by someone with a piercing weapon and enemies that require magic. Also flying enemies that cannot be hit with some weapons. Also the combat is snappy and the camera don't pan around for a minute before the flight as in the PS1 games.
I've never had a problem with the sphere grid and I am not sure why people do. If you are using the advanced grid then you have more options. If you are using the old grid then the characters evolve down a straight path. The story is not FF7 level but it is still good.
@fisk0: internet may have existed since before the PS1 era but I personally didn't get to use it much until broadband because Mom didn't want me to block the phone line and since you paid per minute I was only allowed an hour peer week and we didn't even have dial up until 1998. I didn't learn about gamefaqs until 2001 or so. I didn't grow up with computers like many people did. We didn't even have a CD player until 1996 and a VCR until 1997. The first computer in 1998. I bet it is different for people who grew up with parents who cares about technology.
I don't even remember how I learned about secrets. It was like I had always known. I mean the way to jump levels in Mario or what bushes to burn in Zelda on NES just was information I feel like I've always had. I guess I must have learned it from someone but I don't remember. During the PS1 era I used to play Final Fantasy and talk about it on the phone with my friend playing at the same time. Somehow I was allowed to use the phone even if I was not allowed to use the internet much. I had a phone in my room since I was 10 or so. Back before kids had cell phones.
Started playing Mass Effect Andromeda again after it won the worst game of 2017 and it is not that bad. It's perfectly enjoyable even if it is clearly not the best it is far from the worst.
Video games of course. I barely drink alcohol anyway. I've never understood how people can genuinely like the flavor of beer or wine and I can only drink strong alcohol in drinks like mojito or Cuba libre. I don't like coffee either. I drink water, juice or soda.
I think I love the mid 90's movies the most. Right before he got super famous with Rush Hour and Shanghai Noon but after the silly 80's movies. Who Am I? Mr Nice Guy and First Strike are all great but I've not seen them in ages since I only had them on VHS. It might not be the best but for some reason my favorite is probably Thunderbolt because I love the mix of fighting and racing and racing in cars that could be straight out of Gran Turismo 1.
