Yeah, I'm seconding what Austin said: not enough info for the player to effectively stealth. At least we got to witness Alex Silent-Assassin-Suit-Only the opening with "I Love You!"
@nach0sanchez: It's video game boring in that all the "iconic" bits are there for an audience to easily digest if they've never been here. All the interesting stuff is either further outside of the main drag of the city (monuments and government buildings) or inside of certain buildings like private museums and certain think tanks. I work up and down bits of the city for my job and can tell you that the parts they want to show for the video game map will not be as interesting as the DC they could show if they wanted to show spots people who live here know about. That said, I am anxious to see what Foxhall Road and Embassy Row look like in this game.
Blood Money was my favorite game for a decade. So glad 2016-gen-2 Hitman got a chance to take off w/2 great games. Barely remember Absolution. It was a rebuilding season for IOI.
@flashflood_29: The controls for those quicktime moments can be a little fidgety, especially the choke out. You have to be on your game and roll your thumb to the snap neck button at just the last moment. I’ve had to snap more than a few necks after I choked them unconscious.
@mrbubbles: As someone with over 600 hours between the 2 games, I had to let the screaming go and now simply look away and out loud in monotone say what they’re not getting. It has done wonders for my blood pressure.
Only Hitman 2 pushback I saw came from those that didn’t play any (save for last year’s Hitsmas w/Abby participating). And the fans of that series are generally over the moon that it’s the same. Last time they deviated we got Absolution (my 2012 Most Disappointed). The little changes they made and/or added were risks when that game already has such a tight framework.
TL;DR: If they had made changes substantial enough for Ben, let’s say, we would possibly have had another Fallout 76.
We all have blind spots. Abby taking 10 minutes to go over poor representation of women in GoW (justified, in my opinion. and frankly needed) and then breezily passing by the clumsy civil rights allegory of D:BH made that abundantly clear. As someone who played neither but recalled what Austin and Alex both said about it, I would have to err on the side of at least naming and shaming that shit in the discussion as opposed to just glancing at it.

had a friend growing up who unintentionally talked JUST LIKE him. whenever id try to ape his speech style it always came out like a middling stewart impersonation... so i kinda have an ear for that one.
