I'm doing a new thing trying to address my backlog. Here's my plan:

• Filter existing enormous backlog into list of games I'm currently interested in trying one day (done)
• Try 1-3 new games daily to see which ones I feel like coming back to
• Try each game for at least 30 minutes
• Keep a list of those I want to try more and those I'm done with
• Report here on super early impressions

I'm not using a ton of restrictions because I want this to be something I actually do. I'm using howlongtobeat to determine which games in my backlog are the shortest and trying to get some momentum by trying those first. My time is super limited so at least I can say I gave the games in my backlog a fair shot by trying them here. I'm working on a spreadsheet to track my progress. I'll update here when it's ready.
