Final Fantasy 7 was the first RPG I ever played. I'll always love and have a soft spot for it, but I'm not crazy about the game. So, I haven't been somebody that's actively looked forward to them remaking FF7. I mean, I've already played and experienced the original, so I understand I'll never be able to truly recapture the feelings I had when I first played it.

That being said, between generally being a huge fan of RPGs and the trailer they showed with new combat, there is definitely more interest for me than before. I'm all for shaking up the structure of FF7. I really don't want to play FF7 again with just updated visuals and voice overs. Also, the whole multi-part series thing is a strange choice, but I don't quite understand the outrage over it. It's only bad if the time between releases is way too long.

Rondo of Blood on PC-Engine! That would be great if you guys could do that one. Rondo of Blood would be a great lead up into Symphony of the Night (since it's the prequel to SoTN). Plus, IMO, it's the best traditional castlevania game.

I hope they get around to doing Rondo of Blood on the PCE. It might not have been released in the US until much later, but it's definitely worth playing through. I mean, if you want a great rendition of barkerville, it doesn't get any better than the one in Rondo of Blood. Plus, it's the prequel to Symphony of the Night! We need to follow the continuity of this rich Castlevania lore. :p
