The restaurant in question has a performance art element. The host comes out in various costumes and grinded the menu into Vinny's crotch. I might be going to Japan this year and want to see this for myself. I want my wife to listen to that segment.
Considering that I don't watch hardly any video content, I sometimes wish I got more for what I"m paying for as is. Not a complaint by the way. I'm happy to chip in to this whole thing.
Yeah the combat isn't interesting and is just as bad as the old combat just in a different way. At first I was excited because it resembled dark souls but AC:O's is ropy, clunky and bad. On top of that it's an open world game so they can't make enemy placement matter. Encounters largely are chaotic and come down to your level more than anything.
I love everything else though. Exploring is the best that it's been in an AC game. I even haven't gotten bored of searching for crafting supplies to increase my arrow count to make stealth missions not devolve into combat. Greek influenced egypt is right up my ally. The story told through the clashing architectures makes up for the lackluster story telling is Ubi games. I hate when games create a very different land but it's populated by westerners with western morals. I'm so used to this is movies and games that I've become an expert at ignoring it in favor of what it's doing well. In this case what it's doing well easily overshadows it's bad and is largely an enjoyable game.
It's weird. I dream a lot and vividly. I also play a LOT of games. Way more than an adult should. I never have had a video game dream. Neither being in a video game or a dream about playing video games.
