Hob: Fun, Charming and More Bugs Than You Can Count 0

I don't really know I feel about Hob. On one hand, I really liked all the design and art of it. On the other, its buggy as hell and feels 95% finished. I think I fall on the 'you should definitely play Hob' side of the fence, but I don't know if I would pay very much money for it?Hob is a sort of post-Zelda platformer with some Souls combat and some light RPG upgrades, driven by collectables (sword, health and energy upgrades, other cloaks that give different effects). It has the vita chamber fr...

Dissapointment, Thy Name Is Eternal 0

TLDR: Doom Eternal is a poor follow up to Doom 2016, failing in nearly every way to live up to the predecessor, excepting the Slayer Gates which are brilliant, shining beacons in an annoying morass of platforming and terrible level design. For reference, I played on Ultraviolence, the same difficulty I played all the other Doom games on, and on the PC, because its a Doom game and that's where they live. Also, spoilers. There is a universe where Doom Eternal came before Doom 2016, and is a fun rei...

If you're deep into Halo, you don't need a review to tell you you've already bought this and are having a great time. Sea Of Thieves: A Beautiful, Deeply Broken Game 0

Sea of Thieves, if you want the one line take away without reading the full review, is a deeply, unfixably broken game that uses a happy and goofy exterior to hide a deep, cynical, nihilistic interior.Sea of Thieves is a beautiful game. The ocean alone is easily the most amazing water I've ever seen in a game, and even beyond: it conjures the mental image of the ocean better than going to the ocean ever could. Its bright and cheery and spooky and fun in a way that only Rare could achieve. Storms...
