There is no "war" here. EA is just trying to keep Origin in the news and in the process make Steam look like bad guys, kicking and screaming like a child whose mother just refused them some money for the ice cream truck.

Red Faction is probably one of the most inconsistent series ever. The first one was great, the second one sucked, Guerilla was good but completely different and Armageddon sucked. So whatever. I don't think anyone even knows what Red Faction is anymore.

From Dust is the only one I'm interested in, but I am not about to spend 1200 points on an XBLA game. Maybe I would if they sold 1200/2400 point cards instead of making you buy $40 worth of points in order to get $30 worth of games. Having 800 points just sitting there lends itself awfully well to wasting it on something dumb that you would not otherwise buy. In the age of Steam sales where you can get not just a full retail game, but an entire collection of retail games for $10 it's hard to turn around and spend $15 on 1 XBLA game. I know they're not exactly directly comparable since these are new releases and Steam sales are usually 1+ year old games, but my attitude on it is the same regardless.

Bad parenting, poverty and the absolute joke that is the institution of public schools in the U.S. are the main detriments to children in the U.S. I guess those are too hard to deal with though and some have to kick and scream about video games to stay in office.

Those are all great ports, especially Perfect Dark XBLA /captain obvious

edit: lol that's some weak ass backpeddling there EA. Crysis 2 said it was "origin only" yesterday.

Final Exams are happening on June 7th
