I played the game on the Wii U and I've had the same happen when fighting Moblins in some locations. Sometimes the game just freezes up for a second or two when Moblins goes down (gets worse if multiple moblins go down at the same time). Thankfully it never crashes.

I don't think it's a problem with your Wii U, it's just the game acting up.

that's good to hear. i hesitated buying the game for Wii U mainly because I was worried the system might be on its last legs but im probably over 100 hours into the game and i figure if it hasnt died now it probably wont.

Moblins are the real tall dudes, right? I've had some real slow down (single digit FPS) when they've died on occasion but no total freeze up.

yea i get bad FPS around them sometimes too but that doesnt worry me as much cause im used the bad fps.

I've been playing the game on Wii U and for the most part performance has been fine; some FPS drops in a few areas but mostly fine. What IS worrying me is every now and then I will fight Moblins in certain areas and the game will completely freeze up and scare me because I've had this Wii U since 2014 and it was a refurbished console and the last thing I want is the entire console dying on me before I finish that last great game I'll be playing on it.

I'm just wondering if the same thing has been happening to other people and if there's nothing to worry about. The specific areas I remember it happening were a Moblin close to Great Plateau (can't remember exact area), a few moblins down a path to some rock sirloin for a goron side quest on Death Mountain, and Moblins at a camp near the snow mountain near Rito village (can't remember the name of the mountain). most moblins i run into in other areas are fine.

Darksiders 2 was something i really really enjoyed. I thought the music and gameplay were top notch. I don't think the games are known to be bad but they're definitely not popular compared to some of the other games mentioned in this thread. The ending was also very promising and had me excited for future installments......then the THQ thing happened and the series' future is became uncertain (although apparently theyre working on a new one).

I'm selling a Nintendo 3DS XL Gold Edition (the limited one that came out with Link Between Worlds) and i've run into an issue, I can't find the stylus! I would order some new ones but atm i can't for other reasons i can't mention (nothing shady).

I don't know what price to set the item at now since it's missing the stylus but the average price seems to be in the 180-200 range. The system is in pretty good condition too so that shouldn't affect the sale price too much. if anybody can help figure this out thank you in advance

@catoasapun: What gamers should really learn is never to trust any marketing ever and life will be easier.

Yea absolutely. It's a complicated business because sometimes you can't really know how a game REALLY is until you play it.

But even then the most important thing you should be showing to consumers is the gameplay. It's fine to hype it up with CG/Cinematic trailers but don't start using buzzwords or put stuff into the trailers that you can't actually do in the game.

When developers reveal teasers for a game and say the teaser is all "in-engine" which would be technically true but cut scenes/cinematics are usually able to take advantage of more resources than the actual game when it is being played. Uncharted 4 was an example of this where the cut scenes looked amazing and nearly on par with the first teaser released for the game, but the game itself when being played obviously looked less good (but still wonderful).

This doesn't bother me THAT much, as most gaming related things don't, but it always seems unnecessary even making the statement that a trailer is "in-engine" when you're eventually going to be showing off actual gameplay and people will know what the game really looks like.

Just use a little bubble wrap and get it insured for the replacement cost of a new 3DS. I don't think this is anything you need to be that worried about.

How do i go about getting it insured?

@xanadu: I might have the original case, haven't looked yet but if i do i'll just use that.

still i wanna get everything planned out before putting it up for sale to avoid any anxiety. i'll get some bubble wrap then! wasn't sure if that would be enough.
