yeah, I'm sad we won't get to see Jess' turn on blight club or future horror games with Jan, and I was looking forward to hopefully seeing Jason on demo derby since that was set to return. they were both fun and funny, fingers crossed they will find something better soon.

that sucks so much, both Jess and Jason were great and I'll miss seeing them on gb. I hope they both quickly land on their feet, but I'll say that this ambush-style firing with no goodbye, as they were about to do a live stream, is totally shitty. Just like when Jeff was fired, it seems really pointlessly spiteful.

oh and during Extra Life, Jess managed to get more donations than both the entire rest of the gb team, and Nextlander. so looking at it purely as a business decision, laying off one of the most popular folks who can bring in loads of money is a pretty dumb move. I don't blame the rest of the staff for this, but Fandom has instantly shown they are a much worse owner than both CBSi and Red Ventures. I cancelled my premium, which I kept mostly to support the site, since I didn't really use the perks it gave me. Again, no hard feelings towards the rest of the gb folks who are still on, I hope things will work out for you. but I don't expect them to.

this bug still persists, and it appears that name changes similarly aren't reflected in /infinite chat

it actually seems like it only affects the /infinite chat, I asked one person to check and the avatar correctly displayed in /chat but is still not updated in /infinite.

oh that might be the cause then, as I recall it would take a minute or so (at least in /infinite) but more recently, possibly since the chat update, the new picture won't show up at all.

okay I'm not personally affected since I haven't changed mine, but multiple others are: when folks update their avatar, the one displayed next to their names in chat remains the old one, despite the new picture correctly showing up on their profile. seems to be the case even when the previous avatar is deleted from their profile gallery. should be easily reproducible in /infinite, but I assume it also affects /chat.

So I don't know if this is intentional, but the latest 3 videos up on the site (starting with the Tunic quick look) don't play when I have ublock enabled. If intentional, while pretty annoying I can kind of understand doing that for 'free' users, but I have premium so it shouldn't matter, since 'no ads' is included in that anyway.

And this may or may not be related, but when those videos show up on /infinite they play a couple seconds at a time then pause, play a few more seconds, etc. Basically turn the stream unwatchable. Which is an issue since premieres show up in the poll and tend to get voted for.

Kane and Lynch 2. Actually not completely terrible, some neat ideas in there. Still not a good game.
