I don't love the Divinity: Original Sin games but really enjoyed Pillars of Eternity as that style of CRPG is more my jam. Knowing that Larian was doing Baldur's Gate 3 though, I know what I'm in for.

I'm going to play it and go into it with an open mind and hope that it clicks for me.

This reminds me of The Last of Us 1 launch in 2013.

Played for like 4 hours straight at launch. When to pause menu and noted that the auto-save was from 4 hours ago and the manual save wouldn't work. Messaged my mate who was like 5 hours in - hey have you noticed this?

We both lost all that progress. Ahhh memories.

Twitch is one of those places that makes me feel really old as I don't really get it. I

Ditto. Nothing about Twitch or Twitch streamers holds any appeal for me, despite having been happy to watch GB stuff from the beginning.

I've watched a bit of Dan's stuff on Twitch - but that just feels like an extension of GB since he's left.

Jeff is great.

I don't know if I'm emotionally prepared for this game. I didn't have kids when I played The Last of Us, this will sound corny but playing these heavy games is more taxing since having kids. I loved God of War for example but some of that was heavier to deal with than it would have been otherwise.

Total War-ie, where Rorie plays through Total War games.

Probably would have been more entertaining when Dan was still around, to get a bunch of dumb history questions.

I love Dan

But given that he didn't even know about the outcome of the Vietnam War, and with my job as a history teacher I think that would've infuriated me to no end

@captain_insano: To make matters worse people are apparently going through her social media's and trying to track down the people that bullied her. Its getting to the point where people are getting scared of violence apparently.

Jesus. So stupidly hypocritical. If the people who bullied her have any humanity they probably feel pretty guilty already and hopefully might change their ways.

If they're professional trolls then nothing will faze them and threatening violence on them won't 'work' anyway.

I need more Civilization or some other long-run strategy game playthrough, or some city-builder: Anno (any), Age of Wonders 3, Endless Space 2, Europa Universalis IV, Tropico 6, Sudden Strike 4, ... there are so many good ones to choose from. I know they don't like strategy games, but surely there must be something from the myriad of strategy games around?

I really miss Kerbal Space Program. That should have been an annual thing. Just do that.

Any sports game. Maybe there's some NHL or FIFA game they liked, that they could play through a season of? It could be anything though: UFC, Baseball, tennis, cricket, golf, ... anything really.

A Vinny Total War series would be fantastic - or a Beastcrew (Maybe Warhammer: Total War Beastmen) brains trust playing something like that - but I think that would be a pipe dream sadly. I've enjoyed Alex's Civ videos

A 4 player run of Divinity Original Sin 2 involving Vinny has great potential for wild happenings. I wouldn't even need to see the whole game really, I'd imagine there'd be enough great content even if they just made it a little bit into Act 2.

Hell yea DiVinnyty Original Sin 2 is something I'd be 100% on board for

I have no knowledge of wreselting but have been an avid fant of Terrace House for year.

I don't believe the show edited her or portrayed her as a villain. Though, like anyone, her strengths and her foibles were there for all to see. From my experience, generally the Terrace House fan community is a positive one.

Unfortunately however, like many communities, there are toxic pieces of filth who, instead of just watching a show and enjoying it for what it is - took it to message her directly through Twitter and other social media; post truly hateful things online and just generally being pieces of trash.

What a horrific outcome and a terrible tragedy. Anonymous posting culture (I'm aware of the inherent irony of that) and the needless hatred and vitriol people spread just truly truly sucks.
