Change is weird and difficult. GB was like going to your closest friends place to hang, make inside jokes, and play your favorite games. It was super cozy, but insular.
It’s kinda that still, but there are a lot of new faces (for some of us). I think you could compare this “era” of GB to other transitionary periods, but on a much larger scale. It’s gunna be a lot of experimentation and hit-and-miss for some. That’s okay.
I’ll never stop appreciating what GB duders past and present have done to entertain and make a space for those of us who are like minded. For a few years, GB was almost all the content I watched aside from YouTube channels from time to time. Now, I mostly just listen to the Bombcast. Part of that is due to my personal life changing.
Whatever comes down the pike, I think it’s important to remember that feeling one way or the other is okay. People come and go. If you’re headed out, just make sure you leave the place better than you found it.
