Teran - I'm a moderate democrat, and I agree with you.  It felt extremely ham-fisted.  Especially the focus on the Citizens United decision as pro-Templar.  Abstergo Industries would hardly be limited by American campaign finance laws!  Very knee-jerk, and very much a non-American's view of American politics.
 
There was also a reference to people who opposed healthcare reform being wrong in one of the entries in the database.  Weird.

I agree that TBoGT is the best of the bunch.  The gameplay has been refined with the mid-mission checkpoints and inventive objectives.  Yusuf Amir is up there with Brucie as one of the best GTA characters to date.  And, the new toys we get are fantastic.  The APC, Buzzard, and parachute are all making my random crime sprees much more entertaining.
 
Kudos to Rockstar--between this and TLaD, GTA IV will probably be my GoTY for both 2008 and 2009.

I posted my Uncharted 2 review.  I gave the game 3.5/5.  The game has some great elements, but also some serious flaws.  I decided to post my review this late precisely because my opinion seems to be outside the norm.  I thought it be worthwhile to have a dissenting voice represented in the user reviews on the site.

When you're about to start any activity, there will be a stamp icon in the upper-left.  You can click on it to see your stamps for that game, and the requirements to get any stamps you don't have.

Unfortunately, there's no central "stats" screen where you can see all your stamps in one handy place.

If you read Gagne's blog, he talks about pitching the game to Microsoft last May.  So maybe there'll be an xbla release too?

Anyways, the trailer looks totally sweet.  This has shot to the top of my most-anticipated list.

Ragequitting has been going on in every console game without a disconnect penatly ever since consoles first went online.  Xbox Live turns 6 years old this year, and yet we still keep seeing developers ignoring this issue until a patch.

After getting burned on SFIV and UFC, I'm not buying an online multiplayer game unless they do this right anymore.  I'll buy them once they patch it--and then I'll be getting it used, so they don't get my money.  Game makers need to realize that this matters.

Weren't all three of those tracks they just announced also in Forza 2?  (Motegi was DLC).  I hope they're adding a lot of new ones to go with all the old ones.
