With World Seeker almost done I wouldn't be surprised if this used the same engine . Hard to say for sure what it is at this point though. I hope they have super stuff in there too. Its been a little while since we have done the Z story but also come on on how many times we gonna do that.

Ive been there since 90s gamespot but I think it was around the 2003 video era where I started being much more aware of who was who and their personalities.

The consoles themselves are MUCH better. Its funny going back to ps3 and realizing how it barely played well with the apps you installed with it, Downloads were weird and it didnt handle multitasking well.

Game wise its hard to say. It seems like last gen was the first where graphics and raw power caught up to what designers could imagine so we got a lot of innovation. This gen feels like better versions of things that happened before. Which is fine but maybe not as exciting.

Am I missing something regarding AGDQ and there is some big issue with the shows that I don't know about?

I felt throughout the year on the beastcast and here Dan was pretty articulate on why he didnt like the game. If anything I felt brad and abby where much more hand wavy and foot-putting-down than anything. I felt brad refusing to say the winners and runner ups for the category was kinda silly too.

I liked dans point that games have been added due to a strong opinion of one person. Heck destiny 1, maybe the most famous GOTY discussion moment was all about one persons passion vs everything else.

In the end just like Brad said this is the process and its always kinda been a "listen if you dare". I think it also works because this is the one time a year you really hear this kinda discourse

I played the first phantasy star this year and had a damn blast with it. I did use a guide for some of the last parts which makes me think how much a younger me with tons of time on their hands would have loved this game when it was newer. Its tough and its simple in some ways but It looks good, sounds good and I think might be the best 8 bit jrpg.

I want to play more Celeste. It was my favorite experience this year but I still have a lot more to do in it so I want to give myself more time in it

Outside of vice issues itself what do people not like about austin and patrick content now? Is it because its often political?
