Bioshock's opening was awesome at setting the mood.  Half-Life 2 gave a nice jarring start and sets the mood very well also.

All this talk about ME2's opening - man I need to play that game.

Actually I really also like Borderlands opening movie - something about those slow-mo closeups + the cool music.  Too bad that sort of attitude isn't spread well across the whole game.

I just started Red Steel 2 and have to admit that I was very impressed at how the opening actually made me say "oh shit" and got me fired up pretty quickly.  The Western attitude was right there right from the start and it definitely gave me a great taste of the game.

What are your favorite game openings?  I remember enjoying inFamous' opening.  The comic book style delivery gets me pretty good.  While Final Fantasy 13's opening was beautiful, something needs to be said for games like Red Steel or inFamous that really give you a sense of the game's attitude rather than simply beautiful graphics.

I would say God of War 2 and Call of duty 4 have great opening levels, but to be fair, I'm trying to think of simply opening cinemas - prior to getting control of the character.

I predict the voice of Gaz/Ghost will make a return with a character name that starts with G.

Thanks for the link - I actually went there prior to starting this thread.  I didn't realize there was an option to build the table with the specific filter of "Split Screen with Online Play"  Only games that appear to support this are Army of 2: 4t0h Day, MUA2, Damnation, Haze, Hellboy, Resistance 2 and Sacred 2.   Out of those, it looks like Res2 might be best game to go for.  Thanks for all the help!

Looking for games to play with my brothers.  Except one of them has a cousin come over to play.  So we're looking for PS3 games where on one PS3 they can split screen and go online, while me and the other brother are online on our own PS3s.   To be perfectly clear, this is 3 separate PS3s - 1 used for split screen for two players, and 2 using full screen for 2 separate players.  Preferably coop, but seeing as this is a not-so-common use of multiplayer, any suggestions will be appreciated.

Has anyone had issues with motion sickness in some FPS games but not others? I've never had issues from playing games like Quake/Unreal/Doom series.  Then i started playing the Halo series and Half-life series and started feeling sick after a couple of levels.

I have no problem with Far Cry or even Call of Duty 4.  I'm using the same TV for all of these games so I can't think that these are a factor of the TV.  Has any one else seen selective shooter motion sickness?

Thanks for all the feedback!  I've actually started Warrior Within already and I feel like theres been a huge shift in tone that I haven't quite accepted yet, but I'm planning on continuing and playing the series in order.

Agreed - just because it's different doesn't make it bad.  And I was just starting to really enjoy the combat in PoP:SoT, despite it being simple.

Kefka too.  Maybe because you never heard Final Fantasy characters make much noise, and that laugh was piercingly evil.

If they're trying to adopt new people into the xbox 360, Halo 3 would be the game to pull people in.
