@isomeri: I played it on the Series X when it hit GamePass. Like @cikame described it, it's like a low budget Ace Combat game. I didn't return to it after beating the first two levels.
I don't know how, but the site redesign has actually made it HARDER to find episodes of Film & 40's. It's not listed as a show under podcasts, even though it is (an ongoing one, at that) and if you search "Film & 40s" the only results you get are LITERALLY in the search bar.
How could something so beloved be so horribly mismanaged?
It's such a fantastic game. I bought it on Xbox One and the physical edition came with a cloth map. I loved it. It was number 3 on my game of the year 2017 list behind Zelda and NieR.
I played it on PS2 shortly after it came out rented it from the video store I worked in. I'd heard it was like Zelda and it looked really cool but, man I really couldn't get into it at all, bounced off after about 3 hours.
@goboard: Thanks for the reference, I couldn't remember which episode it was. After relistening I agree with your all's assessment. I usually am listening while driving or showering or something.
Not meant to be clickbaity or trolly at all. I'm a premium subscriber and love Jeff to death. That's why I prefaced everything with "don't take this post too seriously."
there is no Hoth mission at all in the game, campaign or otherwise, that I can find.
Hoth shows up in both Galactic Assault and Blast multiplayer but after a week playing I've only encountered the Blast version of the map (once!) which is a closed off ice hangar.
Dang, Galactic Assault is the main multiplayer mode I've been playing and I've yet to see it. Not sure if I'll hang with it much longer, black friday led to lots of new games bought and there's lots of DLC for stuff I already own about to drop.
