The Order: 1886 The trailer for this game really impressed me. The graphics were amazing to me, the combat looked dynamic, and it looked like you would have a lot of "weird" weapons to experiment with.
What it ended up being was a completely boring pile of crap. The least dynamic cover shooter gameplay, combined with 3-4 weapon options throughout the entire game, cringe-inducing QTE "boss" battles, and possibly one of the most frustrating stealth missions ever. This game SUCKS!
I love to go mountain biking in real life, so this scratches a certain itch when the weather is crappy. The physics are a lot of fun, being able to bite into corners and slide out feels great.
I also really like how you can kind of make your own route, so long as your not sending it down some massive drop.
One reason there may have not been a second game in this franchise is that Mario was diagnosed with cancer during the '92-93 season, and ended up taking a leave of absence. Thought it was not his last season playing, I'm sure any momentum behind a sequel was likely lost.
