Pretty much all of Mario and Zelda. I have nothing bad to say about either franchise, but for whatever reason, I like maybe a handful games between both of their entire catalogs.

  • Wind Waker
  • Super Mario Sunshine
  • the Mario Golf series

And that's about it really. Again, I have nothing bad to say about either franchise. I recognize the vast majority of the games in each are great games, but for whatever reason, none of them besides the few I listed clicked with me.

I like the emphasis on not splitting the community. The whole DLC Playlist thing in games with COD-style matchmaking always drives me nuts.

Thiiiiiis. It always ends up being "here's a bunch of maps and modes you're never going to use because no one else bought them!"

I genuinely don't have a problem with Quiet's design...however, trying to defend it is the dumbest shit ever lol. Ya'll act like Kojima didn't design her that way so he could look at some titties. This is the same mofo who created the B&B Squad. You know...the squad consisting of four real-life models who writhe around on the ground in skin-tight body suits, moaning for 5 minutes after you defeat them. The squad of girls who dance to pop music if you turn on your iPod. The squad of girls who will pose for you if you whip out your camera. That Kojima.

If you like her design, that's fine. Throw up your middle fingers and scream fuck the haters. But don't try to pretend it's not exactly what it is lol

Aside from the cringe-inducing commentary, this doesn't seem offensively bad in any way. It's just kinda extremely disappointing that this just looks like yet another forgettable competitive shooter among the sea of other forgettable competitive shooters coming out soon.

Austin kinda touched on it, but the playerbase is probably the reason I'll ultimately end up skipping this. I picked up BF4 a few months ago during a PSN sale and I found most modes to be simply unplayable because they required so much teamwork and people just don't give a fuck. Every match might as well have been a team deathmatch.

I've only seen a little bit of this game and while it looks great and everything, I'm worried that by not having a dedicated group of people to play with, I may find this almost as hard to enjoy as BF4.

For someone who really likes tactical, methodic games like America's Army, Arma, and his realistic flight sims, it's kind of crazy how Drew is content to just turn this game into Call of Duty and kill everyone.

(I think it's fine for him to play how he wants, that's the beauty of the depth of the mechanics in MGSV, just saying it's interesting that HE is not even bothering to explore tactics)

I was thinking the same exact thing and I think it just comes down to the fact Drew can focus entirely on those games since he generally plays those on his free time where as with this he has to focus on the game, talk to Dan, and try to be entertaining to an audience. Maybe he would still play exactly the same if he could focus 100% on the game, I dunno, but I always just assumed it was hard to juggle all those things.

I will say though that the image of this super secret ultimate badass soldier sitting on top of a white stallion scoping out a military base 20 feet from the front gate is nothing if not entertaining. It may not be the smartest way to play, but goddamn I love watching it lol

What's the longest time Drew has gone without ever raising any sort of alarm?

Wait wait waaaaaaaaaait...if the Deux Ex preorder thing is basically what Steam has done numerous times in the past, why the fuck are they catching so much flak for it? That seems insane to me!
