If sales increase, then it wont be because of the few people who still play Halo 2. Even if they all bought Xbox 360s and Halo 3 the sales wouldn't increase too dramatically that we would even notice.

I only named one of the symbols, the one you guys would call "closing doors" or "choke" I called a "belt" and that was it. Didnt think about naming anything else because the mini game was hella easy anyways

Im also annoyed by how same-ish the series is with all its games are but we have to face it: These games aren't going to change. If it succeeds wildly in sales every time a "new" game is released then they got a good recipe for making millions of dollars, why change that recipe?

Hopefully this game goes back into the direction everyone hope Gears 1 was heading, because Gears 2 was seriously a step or 2 back from the franchise.

We will just have to wait to see in-game footage. Which surprisingly has not yet been released yet seeing as how the game is coming out in freaking November.
