It’s funny that DIB got all freaked out about the fate of Earth in Starfield because that was my 4 year old’s exact reaction. She got really quiet and after a while said “I didn’t want Earth to get messed up” in a very sullen voice. Me neither, kid.
One note about Major Nelson: his mom died very recently and was likely fighting serious illness for a long time. I think that is a more likely impact on him leaving than any behind-the-scenes weirdness. Which is not to say there was no MS weirdness but I like to follow Occam’s Razor.
The Martinet thing (especially with the benefit of another 24 hours of news) is just plain weird.
“Hulkster in Heaven” is magical, and I’m glad more people were able to experience it. My favorite part is how Hogan mentions he’s jealous of the dead child for stealing his spotlight, which is the most on brand Hulk has been.
Obviously “I Want To Be A Hulkamaniac” is properly celebrated as trash from the same album, but don’t sleep on “Beach Patrol”. I wish Albummer were still around to dive into it.
I appreciate the diligent crossposting to Cohost. Once Bird Site finally kicks the bucket, I’m probably exclusively migrating to Cohost. I’ve never posted enough to get into the Bluesky country club, and the other options just don’t interest me in the slightest.

I was surprised to see them enter a different world than the one I got thrown into, but that’s something the previous game did to some extent. My first area is Scorn-like and perhaps not ideal for my melee character. The one on this QL seemed really Bloodborne-ish with the xenophobic enemies.
I agree with Dan that the start is really slow and rote, and the game would benefit more from throwing you into shit earlier. Overall it seems like a solid B game that will eat up many hours for me this summer.
I’m definitely more of a realistic park sim person, but I’m curious what went awry with Park Beyond. Was it mostly technical issues, or did the core concept falter in a major way?
