    Overview

Box art that shows a price is primarily a Japanese phenomenon, and most often appears on value-priced "Greatest Hits" releases. Some franchises even incorporate the price into their title - Simple 2000 games, for instance, cost ¥2,000 (written in Japanese as 2000円), roughly equivalent to US$20.
