    I've read some articles about a Portal 2, but I haven't really heard much about a release date. Who here knows anything more to help fill me in?

    Well there is a Portal: Still Alive for 360....but it's basically Portal with some maps that should be free...but thanks to MS you get to pay for them :D

    not sure about a sequel

    Valve put up a job listing for voice recordings of a new character for Portal 2 (I believe). Either way, P2 seems inevitable.

    Not sure. Havent heard anything on release dates. But valve like to be careful about release dates.

    Being valve it will definitely take longer than you assume it would.

    I believe that it was at some time announce by valve to be true.
    However, now that Still Alive for the 360 Marketplace has been announced, I think Gabe said something like its existence would push back the release of Portal 2 because of the time it took to make Still Alive

    Well I hope they release this game soon. I just beat portal and GOD do I want another one. It felt like the first time I played HL.

    Well in Half Life 2 Episode 2 they referenced Aperture Science and indicated that a ship called "Borealis" had disappeared.  I remember them warning Gordan that the Aperture Science projects were dangerous, but I thought they indicated that their work was important to the people fighting the aliens.

    I always figured that somehow the two series would intertwine more.   Heck in HL2 there was even supposed to be a level on that ship....but they never finished it.
