Been playing around with the new megas on Pokemon showdown. Here on my findings.
Swampert-M - What a beast. With a little rain it out speeds everything and hits super hard. Bulk enough to survive hits but grass will kill it. Must use.
Sceptile-M - Despite it massive weakness, it out speeds almost everything and can hit hard too. It ability counters volt switches and gives it a free boost. Must use.
Sableye-M - While I think a prankster set is better, it a great overall wall. Use it when you already have hard hitters.
Altaria-M - A bulky dragons with good moves sets. Must use.
Gallade-M - Gets the speeds it needs and some bulk for survival. Must use.
Audino-M - A mega cleric. However, use your mega pokemon slot for something else as their are better clerics out there.
Sharpedo-M - Protect + strong jaw = sweep city. Must use.
Steelix-M - It a annoying tank but can be dealt with. Skip it.
Pidgeot-M - Two heavy hitting moves and speed. However, it predictable since there only one way to use him.
Glalie-M - Explosion Refrigerate. However, it kinda a waste to loss a mega so easily.
Diancie-M - A speed tank that hits you hard, special or physical. High chances for ubers.
Metagross-M - Same as Diancie-M but more physical base. High chances for ubers.
Camerupt-M - So slow but does well on trick room teams. Must use with trick room teams.
Lopunny-M - By far my favorite. Super fast and strong, move sets range from great coverage to supporting. Must use.
Salamence-M - Too good. bulky, fast, and strong with a wide range of moves. Ubers.
Beedrill-M - Despite the huge boost in attack and speed, dude so fail. You need to use protect when he mega inorder to set him up. And after that it mostly spam U-turns. Has a bad time switching in. Skip it.
