I admit it: I don't know a Psyduck from a Gastly, and I thought Team Rocket was a goofy duo on a cartoon that my little brother watched.I downloaded Pokémon Go mostly because of peer pressure. Niantic's newest Augmented Reality game, Pokemon Go, follows very closely in the footsteps of Ingress. Players occupy a map dotted with locations in the game corresponding with landmarks in the real-world. While you can still randomly encounter pokemon and battle them at gyms, there are a lot of elements fundamental to the franchise that didn't make the transition into AR.
