I know I shouldn't but I reeeaaallly want to get PSVR tomorrow. I'm not buying an expensive, capable PC and an expensive headset for better VR. At least not any time soon. PSVR seems like a good affordable VR experience, of course with no games right now other than a demo disc but it looks so cool. I fear I'm just gonna give in this week. What about everyone else?

What I have seen so far hasn't really appealed to me, but I know it can take time for new tech to find its footing. I'm in no hurry to make the investment so I don't mind waiting on sidelines to see how it progresses after launch.

I could afford PS VR or one of the pc headsets, but their all still really expensive.

A complete bundle needs to down at least 300 - 400 dollars, before non fringe elements start buying any of them in great quantities.

I'm hoping that the second gen headsets are better overall and a lot less expensive.

Target just switched my preorder from "Pre Ordered" to "Backorder" on the day before release. Also, it's still saying that I'm expected to get it tomorrow. I called them and asked what was going on and they refunded me the express shipping but it still says I'm getting it tomorrow. Fun!

@frostyryan: Yeah, I thought that at first too. It seems like they intentionally didn't put all their units up for preorder so there'd be some available on launch. Not that it really matters to the average consumer, since they'll probably almost all be gone a few hours after midnight anyway.

I know I want a headset, but I have so many conflicting feelings about which one I should get. PSVR is the cheapest, but I already have a VR capable PC and I never got the Move, so wouldn't be THAT much more money for an Oculus or Vive which seem so much better technically. But then I look at the software line ups for all three and it seems to me that PSVR has the biggest and best, both for what's available now and what will be down the road. That could change however, and I could be stuck with a set that has a bunch of cool launch windows games that Sony dropped like a hot potato when it didn't meet expectations. Obviously the smartest decision would be to wait and see how things shake out, but I'm getting sick of tired of waiting to jack in.
