There were quite a few things throughout the weeks that caught my eye, but unfortunately my first week of January starts off with a full week off of work and I didn't really budget for it and got caught by the bug of going out to bars super late to see old and new friends too often so all the money in my possession is currently for food.

The only game I went through the steps of even putting in my cart was The Last Guardian, though, and being a Sony property I'm sure it'll be a constant candidate for discounts. I'd say there were probably 12 total games I considered but I didn't pull the trigger on any and now that I'm staring this week down I'm glad. I'll be focusing on Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry, Titanfall 2's campaign, This War of Mine: Little Ones, Limbo and Inside, a bunch of games I've bought on previous sales or got through PS+ I haven't downloaded yet. Already finished Limbo today.

Grabbed Pyre, Inside and Hitman GotY. Had to stop myself from getting Gundam Versus on multiple occasions.

SFV Deluxe was $32, which is $8 less than what the Arcade Edition will be, and you get the same stuff (minus some bonus costumes). Also had a -25% code.

@cheetoman: Damn you. So you're the one of four ppl who has a physical copy of GR Remastered. -_- I was looking to pick up a copy after playing GR2 but shit got expensive quick. Glad I got my hands on the digital cheap. :D

I picked up AC:O, and then with the buy 2 get 1 free on pre-owned, I got Nioh, The Last of Us, because I've never played it (yes I know how bad that is), adn Skyrim because I miss this game a lot.

Then I grabbed Night in the Woods and Cuphead on the steam sale, and Steam World Dig 2 on switch.

Have you had the chance to play Steam World Dig 2 on the Switch? I am thinking of getting it. Sorry for using the wrong forum xd. Please forgive me.

Got steamworld dig 2, but probably won't be playing it for awhile (finishing persona 5). Was hoping for an Edith Finch discount, but it never came...

@forzafan86: Yes, and Brad describes it perfectly in one of the GOTY podcasts, it's such a perfect game if you just wanna sit back and mindlessly play something while you watch a TV show or something. I'm liking it so far. And last time I checked, it was on sale for $15.

I wonder if they will ever put yakuza 5 on sale or just drop the price, seems crazy to charge 40 for an old ass ps3 game.

Some of these deals are real bad. For example, who would buy the deluxe edition of Dark Souls 3 for $42 when you can get the Fire Fades Edition with all the DLC on Amazon for $30.
