Hi Giant Bomb! :D

So I bought a new hard drive for my ps4 (I have an original model and had a 1.5 tb drive in it) but I forgot that you could only use laptop drives. So I bought a desktop drive without realizing that you couldn't install it. After looking online I noticed they had data banks that would work with 3.5 inch drives and were much cheaper than laptop drives with the size that I wanted.

Does anyone have any experience with these banks and if so are they worth it? Or should I just forget the whole thing and return the drive I purchased?

They allow you to use desktop drives instead of laptop drives. I've never used one and am a little leary about it. But if I'm able to get more storage for cheaper, than I figured I'd ask here before I returned the desktop drive I bought or went ahead and purchased one of these data banks.
