So I was streaming my PS4 to my computer, after like two days of issues updating my OS to be able to install the remote play program, and I was super thrilled about how well it worked. I couldn't help but think "this is the future!" An hour or so into I had this abrupt moment of clarity. I was sitting there, playing a PS4 game on my computer thinking it was the greatest thing ever, mere months after I finally setup up my computer to a TV, and having the realization that playing my computer games on my TV was the greatest thing ever. For a few minutes, nothing made sense in the world. What am I doing? What is the meaning of life?

And there was only one set of footprints because Playstation was carrying me.

I for one like the flexibility it gives. With remote play I'm able to still play games even if my wife wants to watch the TV. It's a relationship saver.

Also, I've been taking to playing MLB 16 on my Vita via remote play while I watch baseball on the big screen. It truly is the perfect time to be a multi-tasking lazy ass.

Edge Casey will tell you that it's good for situations when someone else wants to use the tv your console is hooked up to.

But yes, it does feel like snake eating it's own tail territory.
