Patrick "PJ" Beckett was hired by the Ustian Air Force during the Belkan War. He flies in Crow squadron as Crow 3 in an F-16C with a heart on the right side. He is often teased by members of his squadron especially about his girlfriend. PJ is young and naive, claiming that he is "fighting to end fighting". He often gets into heated arguments with Larry "Pixy" Foulke about the meaning of war and peace. After Pixy defects, PJ serves as Cipher's wingman, flying as Galm 2. At the end of the war, PJ reveals to Cipher that he will propose to his girlfriend but tragically he never gets the opportunity as he sacrifices himself to protect Cipher from Pixy's laser.
