Looks like there's a Japanese indie switch game coming out at launch that requires the touchscreen. The developers have said that the game doesn't support any buttons, so it can't be played on a television.
little irked they can't stream the opposite way considering it mostly worked fine on the wii u. not a deal breaker but i feel it would be a natural feature to include.
That seems alright to me. I'd rather have some games that take full advantage of a touch screen rather than every game being forced to do both touch and no touch.
It's not the end of the world, but I still don't think this is "fine." This right here was exactly the thing the Wii U solved and now it feels like a slight step back. Haven't you been able to stream games from your Phone/Tablet to your TV with Chromecast for almost three years now? How is this not a thing on the Switch? especially considering the thing comes with a dock.
Again, sure, this isn't a deal-breaker, but goddammit...
