I'm considering selling one of my 3DSs (3DSes?) since I don't use it and I'm just wondering if anybody who has done the same or at least knows what type of packaging is good to keep the thing from being damaged while shipping. It's regular 3DS XL like this (it's a limited edition zelda one but i doubt that changes anything).

i'm asking only cause i get pretty paranoid about making mistakes when it comes to stuff like this and i just wanna make sure things go smoothly for the person that buys it.

Do you not have the original case? Otherwise layer it up with as much buble wrap as you can

@xanadu: I might have the original case, haven't looked yet but if i do i'll just use that.

still i wanna get everything planned out before putting it up for sale to avoid any anxiety. i'll get some bubble wrap then! wasn't sure if that would be enough.

Just use a little bubble wrap and get it insured for the replacement cost of a new 3DS. I don't think this is anything you need to be that worried about.

@catoasapun: When you go to ship it, ask for insurance to cover the cost of replacement and they will tell you how much it costs...

@catoasapun: Try googling and see if there is a price difference for your model. When sending it off make sure you have tracking on your package, in case the other party "didn't get" it.
