are they giving the iphone a gaming platform?

I know EA is treating the iPhone like a gaming platform. 

very cool, i wonder if they are gonna put decent games out for it.

Yeah I think I heard this game is coming to iPhone.  iPhone is awesome for racing games with the accelerometer and what not.

yeah it is e.a. is really trying to expand there overall market.

Doesn't EA always put their games on every conceivable platform?

I'm not really sure how great a racing game would be on the iPhone, but I do think the iPhone is capable of becoming a decent gaming platform. It will take quite some time for that to happen though...and some actual support from developers too.

I can say this:  The iPhone sucks down batteries like nobody's business when it runs even remotely complex games.
