Almost a perfect Monster Hunter game 0
Monster Hunter World was the first game in the series that I played for a huge amount. I tried the PS2 and the PSP games but only for a couple of hours.The game has a loop that the name implies, you hunt monsters, you go into the wilds, look for clues on where the monster will be, go find it and hunt it, killing or capturing it.You have tons of options for weapons and armor, that you'll craft throughout the game with the resources you find all over the map or that you get from the bodies of the...

A few days ago, I was struck by inspiration and booted up "Monster Hunter: World" at 5 a.m. I found it absolutely necessary to rearrange my radial menu before I continued playing the game.Being able to quickly access healing items is crucial to survival in this game. So before I jumped back into hunting, I sorted out my items and renamed my radial menus from generic "Shortcut 1/2/3/4" to "Heal", "Attack", "Communication", and "Capture".Then, I went back to sleep because I was only up at 5 a.m. t...

Monster Hunter World smooths over some of the rough edges while maintaining the core of what is enticing about Monster Hunter and proves that this franchise should be on console. The appeal of Monster Hunter has always been kind of a tantalizing mystery to me.
