Who is your favorite playable character in MW2's campaign?
Ramirez because he had the most compelling parts of the game to me (that's purely gameplay, the others had big moments but overall weren't as interesting in gameplay as the invasion of the US segments were).
" Soap, because guess what? He's the only one who's a fucking character. "I guess, if that's your qualification. But what about him is exactly characterized? I don't know anything about him.

Joseph speaks as well.
Fair enough, just saying none of these guys are really characters. Soap has been in two games and all I know is he can kill people and climb ice walls. Hence why when I saw this poll I kind of scratched my head and just chose the guy who had the best gameplay, Ramirez." @Stephen_Von_Cloud said:

Yeah, other than knowing some of the shit he's been through (MW1) you don't know about his character. If I had to describe him, (or really anyone else from the game) badass comes to mind... uh other than that not much. Duke Nukem has a richer character due to this. Also doesn't help that much of the game's dialogue is just shit that's going down in the mission, and military lingo. No squad banter or nuttin'...
Basically I'm saying it's hard to call fav character in MW2, when they're all physically equal in theory (I mean YOU play them all the same, same run speed, same unnatural video game accuracy, junk like that), and how little character development there is. Now if you wanted to know what character's campaign was the best... well MW1's crazy hollywood-spy-action hero antics won me over, and therefore was more interested in the globe-trotting action heroics of the 141 to the more traditionally COD battles with the Rangers.
Although it was cool to understand Cpt. MacTavish's character but when being Soap once again, it feels like old times.
