The sequel to 2007’s wildly successful first-person-shooter Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 continues the story of American and British soldiers fighting Russian ultra-nationalist forces.
This TNT was sort of let down, even compared to last weeks. Too many people got a chance to play where some (including myself didn't). It was still entertaining as always, just wished that everyone had a fair chance of playing. Should probably stick at just going from the top of the list to bottome or vice-versa, less chance of people getting skipped.
It's always great to tune in expecting the end of a long, frustrating night of MW2 and end up with UMK3. Good stuff. Now that I'm sort of into fighting games, I'm hype for MK9.
Guessing the maps like carnival were deleted scenes from the original game so they just have to tweak the levels for just MP maps instead of single player.
its the same format as the first map pack. 3 new maps and 2 classics from cod4. i didn't watch tnt but i can imagine giant bomb isn't that good at this game. top assault rifles are acr, tar, scar. the ump is the best smg. secondary are dominated by the spas shotgun and the single/dual rafficas. cold blooded pro and ninja pro perks are pretty much a must playing online in this game. the first perk is up to you. i usually use marathon pro. outside of that most run with the 5-7-9 killstreaks.
i thought Jeff and them would be talking shit to Giantbomb community players and rivaling against them and private chatting with some of them, asking them how they're so fucking good at Modern Warfare 2 and what their favorite part of Giantbomb.com is and randomly givin away a Giantbomb T-shirt to whoever kills Jeff first and callin out to the rest of the members to team up against the best player, and other groovy people-stuff like that.
but all TNT is, is Jeff playing the game in a regular ass way, with a bunch of regular ass dudes standin around talkin about regular ass things.
like, what's the point to even trying to get invited to a TNT game if its just gonna be a regular ass game session you can have anywhere else? but its free so why complain right? Matt asking random ass chat questions was cool, i'll give em that.

I think that would be going too far....but, I think it would be nice if, ya know, they actually answered some questions and let community have some input. Which was the point of this thing.
I think the main thing that disappointed me about this particular TNT is that the guys went really off-topic for extended periods of time. I like it when they talk about what happens on the screen, take questions from the chat, or talk about the actual game (like Red Dead Redemption last week). But last night, they seemed much more content discussing all sorts of unrelated stuff like Dreamcast games. Those sort of things felt out of place on a stream about Modern Warfare 2.
I enjoyed the talking (lots of topics, was kinda like bombcast) but I couldn't be bothered to pay any attention to the playing. And I don't mean to say the playing was bad, it's this particular game that was boring to watch.
Maybe they should announce they're gonna use a different account and invite friends from the GBTNT account, because some of us have our Online privacy set to friends only :(

Giantbomb users are almost as awesome as me and if Jeff does encounter a freak, he can cut him or her right the fuck off. it ain't hard. and it ain't hard to talk to a user for 45 seconds.
i'm just sayin TNT is a missed opportunity. a video game site that plays a video game with its loyal fans? that should be awesome! instead its some dudes standin around ignoring the game and talkin about old ass games like its a Golden Girls episode or somethin.
