The sequel to 2007’s wildly successful first-person-shooter Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 continues the story of American and British soldiers fighting Russian ultra-nationalist forces.
Even though I think you all have a misguided sense of entitlement in somehow assuming that the Stimulus Map Pack should have been $5 less by your lofty, MW2 hating assumptions, $20 for a map pack sounds like the worst fucking thing ever. That's 1/3 of the cost of the game right there.
I find it funny that people have so little self-discipline that they can't boycott this DLC. 1200 points for 2 new maps. This just reminds me why Activisions increasing grip on the videogame market saddens me.
And I don't doubt that people would buy it for 2000 points, or even more.
I thought $10 was too much for these packs, was honestly shocked to see so many people willing to pay more. Just as I thought developers were starting to learn about pricing DLC too..
