    I know the build is available and all, but since the official website is the only place to buy it I'm expecting a big glowing button to show up that says "Buy it Now!" I thought there was going to be an event at minecon where they would update the website live, but I haven't heard anything about that either.

    Minecon is during the weekend. I think they'll do it at some point tonight or tomorrow. I tried the release client and was disappointed that adventure mode still isn't included. There is a mess of new achievements though.
