The main protagonist from the Pokémon anime series. Not to be confused with Red, the in-game protagonist, who is listed under "Pokémon Trainer", the character Ash Ketchum has only appeared in very few games, including N64 title Pokemon Puzzle League.
The male protagonist of Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. He is the rival of May and Wally.
"The Rock-Solid Pokémon Trainer!" Brock is the gym leader of the Pewter City gym. He uses Rock-type Pokemon. His name in japanese is Takeshi.
Dawn is the female Pokemon Trainer playable character is Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum.
Lanette is the younger sister of Brigette, and, like her sister, is a computer technician.
Max is a young boy from the Pokémon anime, and one of the traveling companions of Ash. He is based from the school kid sprite from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.
Misty is The Cerulean City Gym Leader. Her title is "The Tomboyish Mermaid".

The loving and caring nurse from the Pokémon anime, based on the nameless Pokémon Center attendants from the video games.
Thanks to the extreme popularity of the Pokémon cartoon, Pikachu became the most famous Pocket Monster of them all. Pikachu has also become the unofficial mascot for the franchise.
Pokémon Trainers are playable characters in the Pokémon series. Each Pokémon game generation introduces new characters that allow his/her name to be changed by the player.
Pokemon Professor in the Hoenn region. He is also responsible for giving new Pokemon Trainers one of the three Hoenn starter Pokemon: Treecko, Torchic, or Mudkip.
Professor Oak is the starting point for every young and upcoming Pokémon trainer. He can't tell if you're a boy or a girl by looking at you, and just can't seem to remember his own grandson's name.
Steven is the Hoenn Pokémon Champion. He specializes in Steel-type Pokémon.
