Well, would you?
Mass Effect
Mass Effect is a science fiction franchise created by BioWare. The main games follow the adventures of Commander Shepard, the first human Spectre, as he/she tries to protect the galaxy from an ancient and malevolent alien race.
Would you play a Mass Effect MMO?
I was going to make that joke.Would you play a(n)
Mass EffectMMO?Usually my answer is No.
The best thing about the ME series is the well realized world and the character interactions. Neither of these things would really benefit from an MMO. Also, MMOs tend to feature poor gameplay and be designed to be extremely repetitive time sinks. So no, I would likely not enjoy a Mass Effect MMO. I would probably try it if it was free, but I doubt I'd stick with it.

No. And why this is not a poll?
I know right? A total missed opportunity to add a stupid third option and completely invalidate the results!
No, but the series does have potential to expand into a more RPG like game in some ways. I liked the atmosphere and environments, but a lot of them felt confined after the first game. I'm not good at MMOs or RPGs in general, but I would be more inclined to at least try a more in depth RPG.

HELL YES.
I feel like Mass Effect and Dragon Age both would be awesome as MMO's.
I think BioWare games are more prone to that because rather than gameplay or even plot, the thing BioWare nails is settings. I'm not necessarily interested in playing a BioWare game for the gameplay, and I'm not automatically into a BioWare murder mystery, or heroic epic... but I totally want to see all the places and people they talk about inside Mass Effect and Dragon Age. I want to stroll down the streets of Montsimmard and Jader, I want to see Dekuuna, I want to assault a batarian pirate stronghold shipping slaves to Kar'shan, I want to explore Nordbotten, the city that was slaughtered at the beginning of the Second Blight.
Hmmmm... I would like to play as a Salarian. But I'm kinda done with MMOs. Sure yes, why not! Bring it!

@Kidavenger Hammerpoint.
I want to say that they would do a better job than Bioware, but no, no they wouldn't.
Seriously, after ToR, I wouldn't trust Bioware with an MMO.
The only MMO that ever interested me was Elder Scrolls, but then I saw it looked like a WOW clone. All they had to do was have the first person perspective and all the rest of the map up to Skyrim quality and I would of been hooked.
For a Mass Effect MMO, I would have you start with nothing and you would have to catch space buses across the universe for missions. After a while you and your mates could chip your money together and buy a old used space ship, each of your party would have their own room to customize and store loot. There would be travel time during your travels where you could play space poker and cook meals etc. You could board other peoples ships and steal their ship parts to improve your own ship, shields, cannons etc. The conversations would involve your whole party, so you could be having a civil conversation with someone and out of nowhere BAM! your squad mate could hit the RT and smack him in the face. The end game for the top levels would be joining the spectres or the enemy faction, I don't like games that make you pick sides at the start it should be a late game decision where each faction would actually want you on their side. So the faction vs faction is only saved for top level characters, during this section you would have massive spaceships bigger than the Normandy where you would have to work your way up the ranks, so for example you start off doing dishes between missions and cleaning toilets, rank up you do the food, rank up you modify and mantain weapons, rank up you man the guns etc.
If it sounded like it was good, yeah. I might play even if it just sounded alright. I think there's a big of a shortage of good new MMOs with lots of longevity, and I find it harder to get into MMOs these days than I did in the past, but I've had a lot of fun with the genre, and the Mass Effect universe is one that's just really enjoyable to spend time in.

Ehh. It would depend.
But I honestly want to know why companies insist on making mmo's when you can see them plummeting to their death left and right.
Everybody wants WoW money.
