Layer is one of three navigators in the game Mega Man X8. A new member of the Maverick Hunters, appearing as Zero's Navigator and playable counterpart, Layer is trained as a Navigator specializing in Reploid and Mechaniloid development.
Mega Man X was created by Dr. Light to help defend the world after he and Mega Man were gone. He awakes 100 years after his creation and must fight a new evil, Sigma.
Sigma is the main antagonist in the Mega Man X series. He is almost always found to be the final boss in the games.
A Maverick Hunter turned Maverick working for Sigma.
Mega Man X's mentor and partner who later starred in his own series.
