Reading through the video game part of TV Tropes' title drop section, I noticed one that seems too good to be true.

According to that page, there's a line in this game where Lightning says "I guess this... is my final fantasy."

I'm very skeptical of this and am assuming someone added that in the article as a joke; but at the same time I really hope that line is actually in there because of how hilariously stupid it is. Can someone tell me if that line is actually in the game?

Oh my god, I've been playing a little bit of this game recently, and I sinceeeeeeerely hope that line is in there. That's too good.

I played through it last year and yes, I'm fairly sure that line is in there. It didn't even register for me 'cause the writing is a fucking wreck. Nothing compares to the lines bestowed upon Snow in this game. Troy Baker is such a trooper for giving them a 100%. Still had a great time with the game though.

At least it isn't as bad as "You know, Ellie, we really are the last of us."

I remember the line and i didnt played much at all of that game.

This line is just the beginning of the banality that awaits you in Lightning Returns. The whole trilogy really is just painfully terrible.

@salbert: Sry, I really tried to find it but I've come up empty. The game allows you to tackle each of the areas as you please so I thought it was towards the middle or further but it could be closer to the start and now I'm confused. lol
