Kain, the game's antihero. I greatly prefer this character model to the one in the Soul Reaver games.Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen places players back into the role of Kain, the vampire bent on conquering the world. In what seems to be some sort of separate timeline, Kain has not yet attained control of the realm of Nosgoth. His forces battle the Sarafan, a fanatical group dedicated to wiping out the vampire race forever, led by the mysterious Sarafan Lord. Somehow, this being manages to best Kain...

The Legacy of Kain series has always had one of the BEST storylines in the history of gaming, no other series has sucked me into its world like LOK games have, with a rich plot and loads of twists and turns I expected nothing but the best in Blood Omen 2 (xbox). Graphics -7 This is an obvious PS2 Port, and no IM not poking at the PS2's lack of pinash in the graphics dept., They are good, but not xbox good, textures are at times dull and flat, and there is plenty of clipping which really detract...

Blood Omen 2 is a great example of an awesome game idea, without nearly enough follow through on the production side. Who doesn't wanna be a vampire God subjecting humans and aliens alike to his great powers? We all do. Too bad, that when they started to work out how these powers manifest that they used a weak engine system that has no logic to how you gain and use powers. In addition the graphics guy apparently called in his contribution. The controls are vintage eidos, dating back to the tomb ...
