    Overview

Left 4 Dead: Seizonsatachi (the sub-title loosely translated to "Survivors") is a multiplayer-focused survival-horror first-person shooter developed and released by Taito (in conjunction with Valve and Neilo) for arcades (using PC-based Taito Type X3 hardware) exclusively in Japan on December 10, 2014. Its online services (via NESiCA) were later discontinued on June 29, 2017.

An arcade-focused spin-off of Left 4 Dead 2, Seizonsatachi features a unique "mouse-and-controller" control panel designed for first-person shooters (with both a standard right-handed mouse and a left-handed detachable controller replacing the keyboard). Much of the game is the same as its base game, although it now uses new scoring, timer, starting loadout, and waypoint systems.

While the game uses the same campaigns from both Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 (with only two available at the start and the rest added via online updates), it features a new crew of Japanese-speaking playable characters (visiting college student Yusuke Kudo, visiting high school student Haruka Hirose, tour guide Sara Kirishima, and bartender Blake Jordan). Characters from the original Left 4 Dead still appear as NPCs in certain scenarios.

Along with the traditional four-player co-operative multiplayer (played either with CPU teammates, linked cabinets, or the now-defunct online multiplayer), the game included a special Battle Mode (an asymmetrical 4v4 mode similar to Versus Mode in the base game, only with one chapter and with special versions of Special Infected) and time-limited Event Modes (similar to Mutators in the base game). It also featured a player profile system with an in-game currency (ZG) for acquiring weapons early and unlocking customizable character cosmetics.
