Osiris was murdered and dismembered by Set, the pieces of his body were scattered about the ruins of Osiris's temple. Osiris's body must be restored in order to banish Set and restore order to Egypt.
Set is the antagonist of the story. Set murdered and dismembered his brother Osiris, he then scattered his remains throughout the temple to subdue his powers.
