More properly known as the Spear of Destiny, this weapon is the spear that the Roman Longinus used to pierce the side of Jesus Christ during his crucifixion, according to the Gospel of John. Various forms of fiction have attributed various mystic powers to the spear due to Christ's blood.
Polearms are generally two handed slashing and piercing weapons made of a stone or metal head attached to a long pole of wood or metal. The shaft extends range of the weapon, and leverages angular momentum to increase strength of slashing attacks.
