Kazumi Totaka is a Japanese composer, born on Aug. 23, 1967, whose work is featured in various Nintendo games. Not only did he compose music for a lot of hit games, he is also the provided the voice for some of Nintendo's iconic characters such as Yoshi or Professor E. Gadd from the Luigi's Mansion series. Totaka also served as the human inspiration for the beloved Animal Crossing musician K.K. Slider (called Totakeke in Japan).
As if his playful nature didn't come through enough in his music, he also is famous for hiding a jingle in every game he works on. What is known as Totaka's Song is often well hidden and has to be unlocked via very specific actions.
