WHAT THE FUCK MANNN
why aren't more people excited for this game?
The demo is awesome and it looks new and interesting. Aren't people tired of playing shooters as a solider in a war or a space man shooting monsters yet?
Come on, who doesn't want to pull off a heist and try to get away from the cops while your teammates try to take you out?
I'm calling kane and lynch GOTY right now there doing something new and I will support this.
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days
Game » consists of 10 releases. Released Aug 17, 2010
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days makes a notable switch of the titular duo, with James Lynch now taking up the role as lead protagonist over Kane. However the two are still once again forced to endure a hail of gunfire as they find themselves embroiled in Shanghai's criminal underworld.

Haha, I'm with you man. The demo really brought me on board. It seems like the shooting's at least serviceable, so I hope the game turns out to be a big improvement over no.1
i am. me and my friend always do split screen co-op and this is our next choice. after we finish up borderlands & ressie 5
The demo was good, but I wouldn't go as far as calling it GOTY. Especially when all we've played is one multiplayer mode on one map, and the first 10 mins of the story mode.
while the demo was pretty good after i turned shaky cam off, theres really nothing too exciting about it. As for GOTY i'm pretty sure its not going to beat red dead redemption or mass effect 2.
I think I'm gonna buy this. I definately really like the look of it. There's just not much to talk about.
Like I can watch the Vanquish trailer and talk about how they're usin the same design sense as in Bayonetta, and there's gonna be sick huge bosses, and I really love this fast arcade-style animation, and that one boss reminds me of the robot from Incredibles n all that-
but with Kane n Lynch 2, this just looks like a really good game. Not much else to say. I didn't play the first one cos it looked a bit boring.
I'm probably going to play it because I'm really quite fond of co-op shooters and I kinda liked the first one, (there was definately £5 worth of fun) buuut That game is a third person, cover based shooter... and thats that. The shooting was better, not 100% there but definately better and the visual style is interesting but not as mindblowing as I expected. I was only really taken aback by it when the whole screen stuttered and shook after a massive explosion. It's very hard to get overly excited about a game that feels like something youve played over ten times before.
I think this gets healthy attention here at GB, especially when compared to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2.
" Hello from /v/!Well then.
"
Anyway, played the demo, didn't like it at all. Just wasn't fun to play.
I feel like Army of Two: 40th Day already gave me what I'd want out of a game like this located in Shanghai. You know what I mean...cover-based shooter with co-op elements. Doesn't have cool graphic filters, but I get to modify my guns to my heart's content...
Also, there's been a lot of negativity attached to the first game (and reviews of the first game) so I think some people just dismiss it because of that. I'm guilty of that myself. I can't even bring myself to try the demo, despite the graphic filters and whatnot.
Considering the mediocrity of the first game, let alone the contoversy w/Jeff's review, and the ensuing debacle at Gamespot, it's not hard to figure out why people aren't hyped for Dog Days 2 here. Personally, I liked the demo, and am looking forward to playing through the game w/friends. I'm skeptical though; the story better stay real and gritty like the action in the demo and keep my interest, and I also have concerns about the gameplay getting repetitive. The hook for me is the setting and especially these seedy characters. I want to see what happens to these epic losers. GOTY assertions now are just crazytown though.
