A Team Rocket Executive and leader of their Sevii Islands branch. Three years later, he is the leader of the revived Team Rocket remnant and the main antagonist of the Johto Pokémon games.

May is the female Pokémon Trainer counterpart to the player in Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire /Emerald. She has shown giving a liking for competitive battles and in certain times presented as a Pokémon enthusiast of contests and co-ordination.

Misty is The Cerulean City Gym Leader. Her title is "The Tomboyish Mermaid".
Morty is the Fourth Gym Leader of Johto, based in Ecruteak City. He mainly uses ghost-type Pokémon and gives the Fog Badge when Defeated.
