    Along with Steve Bond, John started the influential and popular Internet gaming site, "Quake Command." John was also the co-creator of Quake Airplane and Quake Kart and constructed many of the chambers. He was hired along with Steve Bond because of their experience with the Quake engine. He is also responsible for many of the corridors of the Black Mesa Research Center in the original Half-life.
