    The aim of Indie DB is to connect independent developers of games with players, from the day they start developing their game to the day they release it.

    Indie games are changing the world, one giant pixel at a time. Indie DB aims to support independent developers and their games, by providing them with a place to showcase their hard work (in-progress or complete) to fans seeking original gaming experiences. The developers are given control of the site, allowing them to share details and behind the scenes insight about the games they are creating, in the form of news, images, videos and downloads.

    IndieDB was founded in 2009 after the successful ModDB site was more and more used by indie developers to promote their games in spite of the fact that it weren't mods for existing games.

    IndieDB is owned by the Desura Ltd Plt. company.
